U.S. Markets
U.S Markets were closed substantially higher on Friday following surprisingly positive employment data. 163 thousand new jobs were added in July, while analysts expectations were only for 105 thousand jobs to be added. The U.S. employment report which surprised for the better, along with the remarks of German government officials, claiming the state would not stand in the way of the European Central Bank (ECB) when it declares a a wide-range plan to purchase government bonds on the continent. were providing positive support to the stock markets. Dow Jones index futures points toward a significantly higher opening. On Friday, The Dow Jones index was closing at 13,096 1.69%, the S&P 500 index was closing at 1,390 1.90% and the NASDAQ index was closing at 2,967 2.00%.




European Markets

European Markets were also closing substantially higher on Friday. German government officials, mentioned that the state would not stand in the way of the European Central Bank (ECB) if it declares a a wide-range plan to purchase government bonds on the continent. On Friday, The FTSE 100 index was closing at 5,787 2.21% , the German DAX was closing at 6,865 3.93% and the France CAC was closing at 3,374 4.38%.

Asian Markets

Asian Markets were closed with a mixed to negative sentiment on Friday. Chinese PMI (HSBC) for the service sector had rose to 53.1 points in July. On Friday, The SSE Composite Index In China was closing at 2,119 0.39% while the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong was closing at 19,666 -0.12%, and the Nikkei 225 Index in Japan was closing at 8,555 -1.13%.

Commodities & Foreign Exchange

The U.S Dollar Index is lower, currently traded around 82.31 on a higher Euro. Crude NYMEX went up by 4.90%, currently traded around $91.40. Gold prices went up by 1.17%, the precious metal is currently traded around $1,609, Spot Silver is currently traded around $27.78.
